Scriabin Prelude Op.11 No.4 in E minor (Lento)
I have found it very odd that until this day I have never touched a Scriabin piece, maybe because I have never listened to his music or maybe found his music boring, I don't know? But this prelude here in E minor is just beautiful and lyrical with lovely harmonies to play with. I might consider playing a few more pieces by Scriabin but I am currently polishing up Schubert Impromptu Op.90 No.2 and practicing Beethoven Sonata No.15 'Pastoral' in D Major 1st Movement. I hope you enjoy my performance!

Hard music to play
Genius!
The best Beethoven's interpreter. Ever. ❤
Wow I've gosebumps!
2024?
that first clapping idiot ruined the ending
I've compared Lang with Richter in playing this piece. He's not that skilled as Richter, of course. Interestingly, both pianists were rather unorthodox in rendering this piece. Really ambitious.
I truly believe this is how Beethoven wanted this piece to be played. So many people rush through this piece but he exudes emotional depth. This is my favourite 3d movement.
63k views, by my reckoning that must be 630 odd people viewed this 100 times and counting.
If you want playing perfection listen to a robot play this music. The greatest artists not only play the notes written by the composer but interpret and then transmit the emotional content of the piece to the audience. Horowitz was a master technician and interpreter of the classical repertoire.
Good job thanks 👍🏻
I hate the too fast ones.
Is Lang Lang goin' tear up😢
Magnificent! I love the expression. Perfect rendition. WHAT a gift you have Sir! 🔥
так забавно как Горовиц не доигрывает левой рукой гаммы, прям как в детской музыкальной школе))
If you love this beautiful Chopin piece, then listen to this performance by Claudio Arrau. It is far superior to Lang Lang's version: ruclips.net/video/FKDir13g7ow/видео.html
Wonderful! 🎉
쇼팽의 스케르초는 조성진 피아니스트를 따를 자가 없다고 생각했었는데, 윤디 리의 스케리초 여러 곡을 들으니 개인적으로는 더 점수를 주고 싶네요.
What utterly astonished me is that he seems to be playing this INSANE piece with his EYES CLOSED! Colorme gobsmacked.
Having just listened to another recording of the exact same piece, I needed an ear-cleansing, and who better than Horowitz to accomplish such a thing? ☺
Please remaster this video on HD/4K
This is great
Extremely soft Touch.Well. Thank you indeed.
Starts at 1:10
breathtaking delightful hilarious deeply moving
i sorta feel like i just found the holy grail. lang lang's mozart is fucking breathtaking and so charming. we almost dare not whisper: he almost sounds like ... mozart himself much of the time. there is an innocent clarity which is absolutely sincere and loving

that closing door like sound in 1:38 like a thunder, like a storm, i like the power and its effects that he gave to his fingers..
Put it on 2x it sounds mental
This piece is beautiful and I'm trying to learn it. Some parts are truly hard but wonderful.
Polish romance
he is the man ive ever seen the best eldest pianist
It's the lack of change in tempo. It's what makes this a unique performance.
Murray Perahia is undoubtedly one of the best Bach performer.
진짜로 너무 어렵지만 하고있어요😅😅😅😅😢😢
No words
I didn't think this was MP's repertoire at all...
Beautiful rendition by Lang Lang. I was asked to play this piece for my future mother-n-law after attempting to answer a lot of questions ahead of a first date with my future wife. The family was so formal and all five kids were probably more nervous than I as to what mom and dad might think of me. My "date" had heard from my friends I could play the piano - which was from an off campus party. But I really had not practiced anything for years (over seas military service) and was pretty rusty. Mom asked me if I knew the tune "there is love" - which I only recognized after she hummed a few bars. Fortunately the stars were aligned and it just happened to be one of the few easy to play standard Chopin pieces I learned as a child. I must have done okay as the family seemed to approve of me and Dad shook my hand/handed me the keys to their car. Funny how that all works.
Sunlight on honey! ❤💐🙏🕊️
From childish innocence to the dread of war and death, finally . . . peace at last.
I recently learned this piece and I am so impressed, how little his left hand his moving. So much control, such a wonderful interpretation of this masterpiece. I’m stunned and in Awe. Magnificent.
Лучшего исполнения Шопена я не слышала! Браво❤
Браво! На все времена! Невозможно себе представить что-то лучшее, чем это. Бетховен был бы доволен.
Who coughs during this? If I was sitting next that person they would get all the dirty looks from me and as soon as the applause starts I would tell them to come outside with me.
Lang Lang plays Ep. 10 No. 3 E Major wrong. Chopin did not intend for the opening themes to be played solemnly and designed to extract maximum sentimentality from the music. But that's why Lang Lang stretches this piece out to 5.5 minutes when 3.5 to 4.5 minutes is about the correct Chopin range; so he can make all those exaggerated facial "emotions" he copiously puts on display. For first-rate performances, listen on RUclips for Vladimir Horowitz, Sviatoslav Richter, Murray Perahia, and Evgeny Kissen.
Forever my favourite recording of this piece 🎹
A genius❗️
PERFECTIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
This guy knew what the composer wanted
I love it
